The generator trailer 3500kg is the largest mobile genset unit in the range, a braked double-axle chassis on a 3.5 m by 1.5 m frame plated at 3 500 kg gross. It carries a big three-phase set for heavy construction, mining or standby duty, mounted to the deck so it tows as one and works as a stable base where it stands.

At 3 500 kg GVM this is a commercial power unit on wheels. It takes the size and weight of genset that runs a large site, a mine installation or a critical standby supply, on a longer 3.5 m deck with the plating to carry it legally. Build and mounting
The chassis and A-frame are steel open channel in a ladder-frame layout, on braked twin axles, finished in painted 2K Duco. The generator is mounted to suit the set, and fuel, earthing and weatherproofing are specified against how and where you run it. Payload, GVM and licensing
Plated at 3 500 kg gross and braked, this trailer needs a tow vehicle with real braked towing capacity and, for most drivers, an EB licence code. The generator sets the real weight, so we confirm the payload against the trailer tare in writing before you order. The licence and combination rules are in the National Road Traffic Act, and we will work through the tow requirements with you.
