A generator trailer is a chassis specified around a genset. The frame carries the mounting, the coupling and the braked running gear, and the generator is fixed to it so the whole unit tows as one and stands as a stable base when it works. The frames are steel open channel, braked as required above 750 kg, and finished in painted 2K Duco. The same base chassis is offered bare in our chassis-trailer range for buyers fitting their own equipment.

Choose on the mass and size of the generator. A 1 500 kg single-axle unit suits a small to mid site genset; a 2 700 kg or 3 500 kg double-axle unit carries a large three-phase set for construction or standby duty. Because the generator sets the real weight, we confirm the payload against the trailer tare in writing before you order rather than quote a figure we cannot verify.
