This golf cart trailer moves a single golf cart on a 750 kg unbraked single-axle chassis, with a rear loading ramp for a clean drive-on. It is built for clubs, estates and cart owners who need to move a cart between courses, to a dealer or for a service, and it tows behind a normal car on a code B licence with no trailer brakes.

What the golf cart trailer does

A golf cart is low, wide and awkward to load onto a general trailer. This one is sized and set up for the job: a deck that fits a standard cart, a rear ramp at a shallow enough angle to drive on without grounding, and tie points to secure the cart for the road. At 750 kg GVM it stays light and legal behind an ordinary vehicle, which suits an estate or club moving a cart now and then rather than running a truck.

Build and loading

The chassis and A-frame are 76 x 38 mm steel rectangle channel, on a single 750 kg axle and 13 inch wheels, finished in painted 2K Duco. A ramp at the back drops to load the cart and stows for transport, and tie points hold it front and rear. It is a purpose-built cart frame rather than a flat utility trailer.

At 750 kg GVM this golf cart trailer is unbraked and any code B driver may tow it, subject to the towing limit in your vehicle handbook and the general rules in the National Road Traffic Act. The supplier publishes no dependable tare, so we confirm the empty mass in writing before you order, and can confirm the deck fits your specific cart.
