Double Hatch Vendor
The Double Hatch Vendor is a braked vending trailer with a lockable serving hatch on each side of a 2660 mm steel body. Tare is 510 kg against a 1400 kg GVM, which gives the largest payload in the range at 890 kg. Price is on application.

About this trailer
A second serving hatch changes the arithmetic of a busy pitch. The Double Hatch Vendor puts a lockable hatch on the left and the right of the same 2660 mm shell, so two queues can be worked at once, or one side can sell while the other takes orders. It is also the lightest body in this range at 510 kg tare, which is where its 890 kg payload comes from. TRAILERS SA retails it from Hartswater and the builder does not publish a price for it.

Priced on application
The builder publishes no retail price for this model, so we show none and we will not invent one. That is also why there is no add to cart button on this page: it is listed here as a specification page. Send your requirement through the quote request form and we will come back with a written price for the trailer as specified, delivered to your address. The same form takes a phone number if you would rather talk it through.
Serving from both sides
Each hatch is 1865 mm wide and works the same way: the top half lifts into an awning and the bottom half drops into a counter. Two counters means two staff can serve without crossing each other, and on a street pitch it lets you face customers on the pavement side while keeping the road side shut. Both hatches lock. Ventilation comes from four spring loaded roof hatches, and the rear access door carries a single sliding window with burglar proofing mesh over it.

The lightest body with the largest payload
At 510 kg tare against a 1400 kg GVM, this unit carries 890 kg. That is 290 kg more than the single hatch vendor on the same shell and 165 kg more than the braked kiosks, and it is the single strongest argument for this model if your trade runs heavy on stock, ice or drinks. It is braked and far above the 750 kg threshold, so registration, licensing and a roadworthy apply under the National Road Traffic Act. A municipal trading permit is separate and remains your responsibility.
Against the single hatch vendor and the kiosks
The Venter Vendor shares this shell but adds a stainless hatch and stainless splash back for hot food, side windows, and gas capacity for two cylinders instead of one. It weighs 290 kg more for it. The braked kiosks are longer at 2790 mm, rated 1525 kg, and carry a wider 2205 mm hatch on one side only. Choose this one for two sided service and carrying capacity rather than for a fitted cooking wall. The whole range is on the retail and vending trailers page.
Fit out, delivery and warranty
Interiors are customised per order, so counters beyond the hatches, refrigeration, gas installation, power reticulation, signage and wraps are quoted against what you sell. Free delivery applies nationwide on orders over R20 000, set out on the delivery page, and collection from Hartswater is available. TRAILERS SA is a retailer and not the manufacturer, so cover is the builder warranty, which we administer on your behalf and explain on the warranty page.

Questions about this trailer
Why is there no price on the Double Hatch Vendor?
The builder does not publish a retail price for this model, so we do not display one. Send your requirement through our quote form and we will price it in writing.
How wide are the serving hatches?
Each hatch is 1865 mm wide, one per side. The builder does not publish a hatch height for this model, so we do not quote one.
Why is the payload higher than the other vendor?
Tare is 510 kg here against 800 kg on the single hatch vendor, on the same 1400 kg GVM. That difference of 290 kg goes straight into payload.
How many gas bottles can it carry?
The nosecone is arranged for one 19 kg bottle on this model, along with the spare wheel holder and the storage tray shelves.
Is the interior fit out included?
No. Interiors are customised per order. Refrigeration, counters, gas installation, power and branding are quoted separately from the trailer.
