This quad bike trailer carries a single quad on a 750 kg unbraked single-axle chassis, with a loading ramp set that fits on the A-frame. What the quad bike trailer does

A quad is heavy and wide for its size and awkward to load onto a general trailer. This one is set up for it: a deck sized for a standard ATV and a ramp set to drive it straight on. At 750 kg GVM the rig stays light behind a bakkie or car, which suits farmers, game operations and trail riders who move a quad regularly but do not want a big trailer to store and tow.

Build and loading

The chassis and A-frame are 76 x 38 mm steel rectangle channel, on a single 750 kg axle and 13 inch wheels, finished in painted 2K Duco. The ramp set fits on the A-frame for transport and drops to load the quad, and tie points secure it front and rear for the road.

At 750 kg GVM this quad bike trailer is unbraked and any code B driver may tow it, subject to the towing limit in your vehicle handbook and the general rules in the National Road Traffic Act. The supplier publishes no dependable tare, so we confirm the empty mass in writing before you order, and can confirm the deck fits your quad.
