The chassis trailer 3500kg is the heaviest bare platform in the range, a braked double-axle frame on a 3.5 m by 1.5 m deck plated at 3 500 kg gross. It is built to carry the largest plant a light-vehicle combination can legally tow: a full bowser tank, a big genset or a heavy pump set, mounted to a frame rated for the job.

At 3 500 kg GVM this is a commercial plant platform. It takes a large water or diesel bowser, a three-phase genset or heavy pumping equipment, on a longer 3.5 m deck with the plating to carry it legally at a weighbridge. Two braked axles keep a heavy fixed load controlled and stable. Bought bare, you pay for a frame matched to the equipment rather than modifying a general-purpose trailer.
Build and mounting
The chassis and A-frame are steel open channel in a ladder-frame layout, on braked twin axles, finished in painted 2K Duco. The mounting is specified to the equipment. Payload, GVM and licensing
Plated at 3 500 kg gross and braked, this trailer needs a tow vehicle with real braked towing capacity and, for most drivers, an EB licence code. The equipment sets the real weight, so we confirm the payload against the trailer tare in writing before you order. The licence and combination rules are in the National Road Traffic Act, and we will work through the tow requirements with you.
