About this trailer
The single axle utility trailer 3.0m is the longer of the two 750 kg workhorses, a 3.0 m by 1.5 m multi-purpose unit with half a metre more deck than the 2.4 m model. It comes in five build grades on one page, from a basic garden-and-cargo trailer to a premium build on an upgraded axle. Every grade stays at 750 kg GVM, so none needs trailer brakes.
Choosing your single axle utility trailer 3.0m grade
The Standard grade runs 800 mm sides on a 1.6 mm steel-plate floor for general household, garden and light trade loads. The Heavy-Duty grade keeps the deck but steps the axle up to 1 600 kg for a stronger, longer-lasting build. The Premium grade adds a thicker 2.0 mm floor and taller 1 000 mm sides for deep, dense loads. Both the Standard and Premium builds are available with mesh sides where you carry loose material such as garden refuse or feed that would spill over solid panels.
Build and deck
All grades are built on a 76 mm open-channel ladder-frame chassis and finished in painted 2K Duco, with removable sides so the same trailer works flat for a mower or bulky item and sided for a loose load. At 3.0 m by 1.5 m the deck takes longer items than the 2.4 m unit while still towing easily behind a bakkie or mid-size car and fitting most single garages.

Towing and licensing
At 750 kg GVM this trailer is supplied unbraked and needs no braked coupling. Any driver with a code B licence may tow it behind a light vehicle, subject to the towing limits in your vehicle handbook and the general rules in the National Road Traffic Act. The supplier does not publish a dependable tare, so we confirm the empty mass and the payload in writing before you order.
Where it sits in the range
This is the longer 750 kg option. For a shorter deck, the 750 kg 2.4 m unit is easier to store and tow. If you carry heavier loads, the braked 1.3 ton and 1.8 ton single-axle trailers plate higher. Compare the range under non-braked utility trailers, or browse the full range.
Delivery, warranty and ordering
Most grades sit near the R20 000 free-delivery threshold, so delivery is quoted to your town where a build falls under it, or you can collect from Hartswater; the terms are on our delivery page. The builder warranty, which we administer on your behalf, is set out under warranty. For a quote on a specific grade including delivery, use the quote request form or WhatsApp us.
