About this trailer
This single axle utility trailer is the 750 kg, 2.4 m by 1.5 m multi-purpose unit, the most popular size for home, smallholding and light trade use. It is offered in four build grades on one page: pick the grade from the dropdown and the price updates. Every grade stays at 750 kg GVM, so none needs trailer brakes and any licensed driver can tow it behind a light vehicle.
Choosing your single axle utility trailer grade
The entry grade runs a 600 mm headboard on a 1.6 mm steel-plate floor, which covers garden loads, light building material and general household use. The taller-sided grade lifts the headboard to 800 mm for a deeper load, and the premium grade steps the axle rating up to 1 600 kg for a stronger, longer-lasting build even though the trailer stays plated at 750 kg. A mesh-side version is available where you carry loose or bulky material that would spill over solid sides.
Build and deck
All grades sit on a 76 mm open-channel chassis in a ladder-frame layout with a 1.6 mm steel-plate floor and are finished in painted 2K Duco. As a multi-purpose trailer the sides are removable, so the same unit works flat for a mower or a few boxes and sided for a loose load. The 2.4 m by 1.5 m deck is the size that fits most single garages and tows easily behind a bakkie or mid-size car.
Grades
- Standard – 600 mm sides, 1.6 mm floor
- Standard + Mesh – mesh sides for loose loads
- Heavy-Duty – 800 mm sides for deeper loads
- Premium – 800 mm sides on an upgraded 1 600 kg axle

Towing and licensing
At 750 kg GVM this single axle utility trailer sits on the braking threshold, so it is supplied unbraked and needs no braked coupling on the tow vehicle. Any driver with a normal code B licence may tow it, subject to the vehicle towing limits in your handbook and the general rules in the National Road Traffic Act. The supplier does not publish a dependable tare, so we confirm the empty mass and the resulting payload in writing before you order.
Where it sits in the range
This is the compact 750 kg option. For a longer load, the 750 kg 3.0 m unit gives half a metre more deck in the same grades. If you carry heavier loads, the braked 1.3 ton and 1.8 ton single-axle trailers step the plating up. Compare the range under non-braked utility trailers, or browse the full range.
